Public Computers & Wi-Fi

Public computers are available and free to use. The Library also provides free Wi-Fi both inside and outside of the buildings, 24/7. No library card is required.

In addition to our catalog, the Library may also be able to connect you to materials from outside of the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS).

WorldCat is a union catalog that itemizes the collections of 72,000 libraries in 170 countries and territories that participate in the Online Computer Library Center global cooperative. It is operated by OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc.

If you identify materials you want to use, please see our library staff. Items borrowed through WorldCat are shipped to the Library on your behalf via the U.S. Postal System and may incur a shipping charge.

Interlibrary Loans

If the Library doesn’t have what you’re looking for, one of the other 45 libraries in the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS) might.

We are happy to order materials from other libraries in the RCLS for you and have it sent to your desired pick-up library, free of charge. Some materials may even be ordered from libraries outside of the RCLS, but it is at the discretion of the lending library to fill a request.

Interlibrary Loans expand your local collection to include countless additional books and DVDs as well as materials we don’t have such as video games and blu-rays.

Tech Assistance

The Library offers FREE one-on-one assistance for all of your technological needs. You can receive help on phones, tablets, and computers spanning a wide variety of topics including Microsoft apps and programs, Apple apps and programs, social media, storage space, email, computer security, internet privacy, and more.

Livingston Manor Branch:

  • Mondays: 2:00-4:00pm
  • Thursdays: 10:00am-12:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm

Roscoe Branch:

  • 1st Tuesday of Every Month: 10:00am-4:00pm

Digital Navigator

The Library is also home to a Digital Navigator. This trusted guide works with the National Digital Inclusion Alliance and is available to assist community members with internet adoption and the use of computing devices. Services include the following and more:

  • helping finding affordable internet access and devices
  • assistance connecting with online resources
  • technical assistance 
  • assistance filling out online applications and forms for things such as jobs, public assistance, healthcare, etc.
  • help paying bills online

Local History Book Collection

The Library has curated a special collection of books giving patrons insight into the rich history of Livingston Manor, Roscoe, and the surrounding areas.

New York State Talking Book & Braille Library Reading Resources

The New York State Talking Book & Braille Library provides resources to New Yorkers with visual, physical, and reading disabilities. The Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library can connect you, friends, neighbors, or family members to those resources. Please do not hesitate to contact the Library to learn more.

Available resources include: audio books & magazines, audio player & accessories, downloadable books and magazines, and braille books, ebraile & magazines.

Naloxone Emergency Overdose Kits

This life saving medication inhibits a heroin/opioid overdose and can be administered without formal medical experience. If you know anyone who may be at risk, please help yourself to a kit.

Kits are located in the “NALOXBOX” near the Library’s bathroom door.

The Library offers a FREE notary service, available every Tuesday from 10:00am-2:00pm or by appointment.
