Established writers are invited to apply for an upcoming writers’ workshop titled “How to Write Irresistible Stories.” This workshop will be hosted at the Roscoe Branch.
Participants will read and discuss short works and engage in generative writing exercises with acclaimed author, novelist, and essayist Marie Myung-Ok Lee. As a co-founder of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, Lee is known for her dedication to supporting writers of color and fostering strong writing communities. She will be staying locally through May as the inaugural recipient of the Conjunctions Residency, “Writers Helping Writers.”
Consideration will first be given to residents of the Town of Rockland; however, interested applicants from the surrounding area are also encouraged to apply. Please send a 500-word writing sample to LMR-Library@rcls.org. Applications will be accepted through May 1.
