The Next Repair Café:

Saturday, January 10th 2026

11:00am-2:00pm

at the Livingston Manor Presbyterian Church
(568 Old Route 17)

Repair Café Livingston Manor promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Community members are invited to bring items in need of repair to have them fixed on the spot by volunteer repairers. No pre-registration necessary.

What items can be repaired?

This Repair Café will feature repairers of textiles (sewn and knit), electrical appliances, furniture (small pieces), wooden and mechanical objects, clocks/watches, laptops/computers, and phones/tablets.

This Repair Café will also feature a special opportunity for book repair with professional book conservator Cara Schlesinger of Faenwyl Bindery.

What items can’t be repaired?

Please bring any parts that you know are needed for the repair. Some lamp parts are kept on hand, but for other items, if we don’t have the parts, it may not be possible to make the repair. Please also keep in mind that items that are mostly plastic, may not be fixable.
